Wolverine is just a man looking to buy a boat in the latest clip from March’s Logan, Hugh Jackman’s third and final film as the character.
Set to a voice mail being left by Logan, the artsy black and white clip shows the clawed mutant in his job as a limo driver in Las Vegas as the message being left has him seeking to buy a yacht as a “retirement gift for his dad.” Since Logan’s father is long dead it’s likely that he is trying to buy the boat as a gift for the ailing Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) that he’s helping care for.
In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
Logan stars Jackman, Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, La Salle, Elise Neal, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Stephen Merchant. The film opens on March 3, 2017.
