Marvel and Netflix have spent years rolling out shows with the plan to eventually bring all the various characters together in one big team-up series, Marvel’s The Defenders. After all the anticipation that series is finally debuting later this year, but someone is ready for a second season.

That person would be Jessica Jones herself, actress Krysten Ritter. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Ritter spoke about the joys that come with working with the other Marvel series leads Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Finn Jones (Iron Fist).

“It just feels fun,” she said to EW. “We’re all having a blast. We’re all excited to be working together. It’s fun to see their work, how they work, what their style is, what the integrity of their characters are. We’re all so invested in our characters that everybody just wants everything to be great.”

Another perk that comes with sharing the stage with so many other leads means more downtime for each actor as the shooting schedule is much different opposed to being the only lead of their own series.

“With Jessica Jones, I’m in almost every frame of the show,” Ritter said. “This is spread out so we’re all working about three days a week. We’re all in celebration of that. It’s honestly kind of a dream job. If they want to do a Defenders 2, I’m in.”

There hasn’t been any word about a second season just yet, since the first season is still in the process of filming and hasn’t released yet. Though if it follows suit like most of the previous shows a season renewal will not be far behind the show’s release later this year.

Marvel’s The Defenders stars Ritter, Colter, Cox, Jones, Elodie Yung, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Rosario Dawson, Rachael Taylor and Scott Glenn.
