As promised by Netflix and Marvel, the very first full length trailer for their next Netflix series Luke Cage has finally arrived. Mike Colter is back as the indestructible Luke Cage, after debuting in last year’s Jessica Jones, and is ready to protect his home of Harlem from the criminals that have descended upon the locals.
The trailer gives a good look at the majority of the main cast, even the returning Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple appearing in her third Marvel Netflix series, and even includes a momentary homage to Cage’s 70s born tiara and wrist bands.
All 13 episodes of Luke Cage debut on September 30. The series stars Colter reprising his role as Luke Cage from Jessica Jones, alongside Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Mahershala Ali, Theo Rossi, Frank Whaley, Sonia Braga and Dawson.
